VA - DARK AMBIENT RADIO VOL. 1 (CD)

Low frequencies, deep atmospheres, layers of darkness. All this decorated with slow, wicked melodies. Music not usually coming from your radio, more likely coming from the abyss scorching inside a sick mind. But there is this place - Dark Ambient Radio. A place which provides with a shelter not only those who enjoy drowning their senses in dark soundscapes and atmospheres but also the ones who dare to create them.

And not only it gives a shelter to the dark ambient producers who lurk in this online community. It also gave them the chance to present their work to the world. So thirteen artists united, composed eleven tracks and created 70 minutes pure, dark ambient madness. In the first (and hopefully not last) volume of Dark Ambient Radio Compilation you’ll be able to hear tracks by established artists such as Ah Cama-Sotz, Svartsinn, Dark Muse, Phelios and Stephen Parsick but you will also have the chance to discover the works of younger projects such as Nihil Communication, Nagual Art, Evoke Scurvee, Mytrip, All Sides, Megatone, Phobos and False Mirror.

Mokushi - Worldwide Kawaii Genocide [2008]

The whole existence of the human beings is actually engulfed by pure selfishness. We pretend we are the highest achievement of evolution and do not accept any other possibilities. But they are here to prove we're wrong, and not only prove but mutilate and disembowel us. Mokushi means and it really is an Apocalypse. A hardcore/schranz apocalypse for all living beings and an anthem of our new animated murderers. Wondering what's happening and what we're actually talking about? Click and enjoy the Worldwide Kawaii Genocide!!!

Deflax - Mirrors [2008]

Have you ever faced something that scares you to death but in the same time fascinates you so much you just can’t help thinking about it. This is absolutely what we felt when we first heard Deflax’s debut release for ODP - "Mirrors". This record is probably the darkest piece of work we’ve released for these almost three years online. 12 tracks of pure darkness. Deep dark atmospheres are collaborating with intoxicating drum loops, creating amazing soundscapes. All of these are filled with so much creativity, feelings, memories and inspiration that you start wondering if this isn’t a direct gaze in the depths of its creator’s instead of a musical product. So click on the link below and face Deflax’s mirrors, because as it was said in a Mytrip song once - "Mirrors are where you touch reality..."

Simeon Dotkov - Warscathed OST [2008]

The first of the ODP March releases came quite unexpected. All of you reading this are probably familiar with the work of Simeon Dotkov in Animassacre and Mantis Mating Call. He gave us the chance to present another side of his musical work. We will release two collections consisting of his finest soundtrack works. The first one is the original soundtrack for the computer game Warscathed. A game whose future is not so clear but anyway the music that Simeon composed for it is a fact and we are here to share it with you. So click the link below and download it for free.
